Key Responsibilities
● Manage end-to-end merchandising activities including product development, sourcing,
price negotiation, production follow-up, quality control, and delivery
● Liaise closely with suppliers to develop new items and optimize cost and quality
● Handle order processing, artwork coordination, packaging, testing, and compliance
● Prepare regular reports and updates on orders under production and overall
merchandising performance
● Develop and explore new markets, customers, and sourcing opportunities
● Conduct ongoing price and market comparisons to ensure competitiveness
● Work closely with Quality, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution
● Maintain and oversee an accurate and up-to-date product database
● Identify alternative sourcing strategies to support business growth and margin
improvement
Requirements
● Minimum 8 years of merchandising experience, preferably in a trading company
● Experience in plumbing / building material / appliances / houseware products
● Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
● Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
● Experience handling U.S. and European markets is an advantage
● Fluent in spoken and written English
● Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
● Comfortable using Zoom / Microsoft Teams and willing to learn internal systems
● Willing to travel occasionally for business
